Inidata.id - Legally, individual taxpayers can now use the ID Number Citizenship (NIK) in fulfilling their tax rights and obligations.

So, that way, the public is given the convenience of not having to bother registering with the Tax Service Office because the integration of NIK as a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) has been running.

The Minister of Finance (Menkeu) of the Republic of Indonesia directly inaugurated the launch this innovation. Not only launching NIK as NPWP, in the peak momentum of the celebration of Tax Day In 2022, the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) also released other facilities, namely the bilingual website www.pajak.go.id in Indonesian and English, validation of the Tax Payment Letter (SSP) of Income Tax on the Transfer of Land Rights. and/or Building (PPhTB) by a Notary/PPAT online so as to facilitate the implementation of land and/or building sale and purchase transactions, as well as the 2021 PEN book.

On this occasion, the Minister of Finance and the Director General of Taxes gave appreciation and appreciation to stakeholders who were considered to have made external contributions usual to DGT so far, especially in Tax Reform.

Third, the Tax Reform Award Category for Human Resources (Capacity Building) includes the World Bank, Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Australlian Tax Office (ATO), Asian Development Bank, Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), National Tax Service of Korea (NTS), Japan's National Tax Agency (NTA), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and International Monetary Fund (IMF).
