Inidata.id - To increase productivity by reducing production costs, PT Sinar Tayan Inti Mulya (STIM) switched to using PLN electricity with premium services of 5,540,000 VA power.

The signing of the memorandum of understanding for premium services was carried out by the Senior Manager of Commerce and Customer Management of PLN West Kalimantan, Rizal Azhari, with the Director of PT STIM, Sumin, at the Ibis Hotel Pontianak.

The company that processes palm kernel oil (PKO) previously used its own steam-powered Captive Power plant with a capacity of 5 MW.

"Using PLN electricity is certainly more practical, effective and efficient. We believe we can increase productivity and be able to reduce production costs by more than 50 percent," said Director of PT Sinar Tayan Inti Mulya, Sumin today.

Seeing that the stock of kernel raw materials in West Kalimantan is quite large, his party plans to increase the factory's operational productivity by adding electric power up to 10 MW.

He admitted that PLN's service was very satisfactory. All new installation service processes are carried out quickly, transparently, and uncomplicated.
