The Meaning of Simultaneous Social Service in Orphanages and Nursing Homes

Inidata.id - Kodam XII/Tanjungpura held simultaneous social services to a number of orphanages and nursing homes in Pontianak and Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan.

One of them was carried out by Pangdam XII/Tpr, Maj. Gen. Sulaiman Agusto, by visiting the Father's Love Orphanage on Jalan Adi Sucipto, Sungai Raya Kubu Raya. This social service was carried out in commemoration of the 64th Anniversary of Kodam XII/Tpr.

In addition to these places, social services were also carried out in other places, including the Darul Fallah Orphanage, Ambawang Kuala Village, Sungai Ambawang led by Kasdam XII/Tpr, Brigadier General Djauhari Harapan Bangsa Orphanage in Sungai Jawi Luar Village, West Pontianak led by Irdam XII/Tpr, Brigadier General Widhioseno. The Aisyiyah Orphanage in Sui Jawi Village, Pontianak City is led by Irutben Itdam XII/Tpr, Colonel Cpl Eko Wahyu Sujatmiko.

Then, the Generous Orphanage in Teluk Bakung Village, Sungai Ambawang District, Kubu Raya was led by Pamen Expert Bid. Humanitarian Law, Colonel Inf Patar Sahat Panggabean. At Graha Werdha Marie Joseph, Siantan Hulu Village, North Pontianak led by Irutum Colonel Inf. M. Silwanus. Then at the Mulia Darma Elderly Social Rehabilitation Center, Arang Limbung Village, Kec. Sungai Raya is led by Pamen Expert for OMP, Colonel Inf Narliansyah.

While at the Kasih Father Orphanage, Pangdam XII/Tpr, Major General TNI Sulaiman Agusto accompanied by the Chairperson of Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Region XII/Tpr Helly Sulaiman Agusto symbolically handed over the food package assistance to the Chairman of the Kasih Ayah Foundation, Head of the Kasih Ayah Orphanage, Fera Era Teta Saragih and the Head of the Kasih Father Nursing Home, Rosnawati and representatives of the residents of the orphanage.

Pangdam XII/Tpr, Maj. Gen. Sulaiman Agusto while giving a speech said that this social service activity was a series of commemorations of the 64th Anniversary of Kodam XII/Tpr which fell on 17 July.

This social service is carried out simultaneously by the Kodam and its staff at the Wreda Homes and orphanages of various religions.

"Today we are providing assistance in the form of basic necessities, as much as we can. Hopefully the aid will be useful to help meet the daily needs of the Panti residents," he said.
