Inidata.id - The Chief of Staff of Kodam (Kasdam) XII/Tanjungpura Brigadier General Djauhari said, Kodam XII/Tanjungpura has a territorial area that includes two provinces, namely West Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan.
Meanwhile, the Korem 121/Abw area is geographically bordered by Malaysia which has a boundary line of approximately 966 kilometers.
He reminded, with this border, Kodam XII/Tanjungpura is responsible for guarding and securing the Indonesia-Malaysia Border, because along the border it is still vulnerable to illegal activities and border violations.
"Currently there are two Task Forces guarding the RI-Malaysia border, namely the Battalion 645/Gty Task Force for the western sector and the Yonarmed 19/Bogani Task Force for the eastern sector," he said today in Kubu Raya Regency.
With this condition, Kasdam hopes that Serdik should use the available time to be more active in exploring and gaining knowledge.
"Forge as much experience as you can, so that after completing activities at Kodam XII/Tanjungpura, you will get provisions that can be used as a reference for carrying out further educational tasks," he said.
