Inidata.id - The Main Door Security Officer (P2U) of the Class IIB Bengkayang State Detention Center (Rutan) managed to thwart an attempt to smuggle suspected narcotics into the detention center.
This failure began when there were guests who wanted to leave body care items such as toiletries and body care for female prisoners in the prison. In accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), P2U officers carefully and thoroughly inspect the deposited goods.
The head of the Bengkayang Class II Detention Center, Chandra Wiharto, said that the officers suspected that the deodorant was dripping with liquid, then the officers burned the deodorant.

"Officers saw liquid coming out of the deodorant that was deposited, seeing this the officers immediately dismantled the deodorant with a cutter, it turned out that there were items suspected of being narcotics," said Chandra Wihartodi, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan today.
The P2U officer then called the inmate in question and ordered the inmate to take the items in the deodorant.
"It turned out that 4 (four) packs of clips allegedly contained methamphetamine in one deodorant package and 6 extacty pills in another deodorant package," said Chandra Wiharto.
He continued, his party then immediately reported this incident to the leadership and coordinated with the police to conduct further investigations.
