Teacher Info: PGRI Has a Role in Transforming the Young Generation

Inidata.id - Kubu Raya Regent Muda Mahendrawan said the Indonesian Teachers Association (PGRI) in Kubu Raya Regency had a role in transforming the younger generation in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan.

This was conveyed by the Young Regent Mahendrawan attending the Work Conference II of the Kubu Raya Regency PGRI Management for the 2020 Period of Bhakti, at the Dangau Hotel Hall of Kubu Raya, Saturday (6/8/2022).

“From those who don't understand to understand, from those who don't know to know, from those who don't move to move, from those who are not accessible with education to become accessible, from those who are powerless to be empowered. This is what we have actually done, the point is transformation,” said the Young Regent Mahendrawan.

Not only that, he said, PGRI also has an extraordinary transforming role, namely, from the unworthy to the worthy, from the unjust to the just, and most importantly from something worrying to something happy.

The Young Regent Mahendrawan said that the Second Working Conference of the Kubu Raya Regency PGRI Management must emphasize the consolidation of thoughts as well as address various existing phenomena.

"For example, related to various things, after this pandemic. However, what is certain is, this raises the spirit of fighting power, “said the Young Regent Mahendrawan.

According to him, it is through organizations that we learn, through organizations we find ways of responding and responding, accelerating and adapting to the development of various phenomena that are currently very fast.

“We have to be more empowered and enthusiastic to save the younger generation, for example, don't get involved in drugs, pornography, LGBT and other things. This is actually PGRI's mission, not only to educate, but also to have a humanitarian mission, to prevent our young generation from being involved in such things," said the Young Regent Mahendrawan.
