Hundreds of Hajj Pilgrims Arrive in West Kalimantan, Governor Sutarmidji: May Hajj Prosperity Be Maintained

Inidata.id - Hundreds of pilgrims from Sambas, Pontianak, Kubu Raya and Mempawah arrived in Pontianak today, Friday (29/7/2022).

The atmosphere of emotion and joy was evident from the pilgrims who arrived in the courtyard of the Kapuas Palace Hotel Pontianak and were greeted directly by the Governor of West Kalimantan, Sutarmidji, accompanied by the Head of the Ministry of Religion for the West Kalimantan Region Syahrul Yadi, Chairman of DPRD Sambas Abu Bakar, several Heads of Regional Apparatus in the West Kalimantan Provincial Government and West Kalimantan Province Hajj Organizing Officers (PPIH).

Governor Sutarmidji advised the congregation, especially those who still had to stay overnight in Pontianak, to immediately rest and keep their bodies fit, considering the long and tiring journey from Jeddah to Batam continued to Pontianak.
